In 1923 reference is made to the ‘first surpliced choir’ at St Nicholas’. However we do know that there was a choir before this time because an earlier reference (July 1903) mentions ..’The choir were treated to an outing on the river, with a stop made for tea’ This was by courtesy of the Rector. |
